Rehabilitation Massage is the assessment of soft tissue and joints in the body, and the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain. It can help to develop, maintain, rehabilitate and augment physical function. Target tissues may include muscles, tendons, ligaments, skin, joints or other connective tissue.
At Canadian Active Rehabilitation, massage therapists will assess and manipulate soft tissue and joints to decrease swelling and increase range of motion. This allows for more efficient treatment and a quicker recovery time for our patients.
